Welcome to 3-D Thursday and this week we have a fabulously creative one for you featuring an altered Altoids tin and Dinosaurs!

This week’s project was created by the fabulously lovely Twila Davis over at Stamp a Little Longer and she came up with this sweet project – further down this post you will find a link to the FREE Project Sheet that has step by step instructions & color photos so that you can create your own beautiful project.

And here is what Twila came up with…on the outside, it’s already cute!

But pop open that lid and WOW!!!  How ADORABLE is this?

The papers used to decorate both the outside of the tin and the inside of the lid are patterned papers from Dinoroar Designer Series Papers.

The terrain in the bottom of the tin was created using Stampin’ Up!’s Embossing Paste which comes ready mixed for you so all you need to do is dig out your Palette Knives and get sculpting your scene…

The pop up tree was cut from another sheet of paper from Dinoroar DSP and you can find the dinosaurs at dollar stores – when you go looking for them, they come in plastic eggs like the one  shown below…

The dinosaur on the top of the lid is die cut out of another sheet from Dinoroar DSP using a coordinating die from Dino Dies (you now know that you NEED this fun patterned paper before it retires next month!) and here is a closer look at him…

A coating of Mod Podge to the finished project increases it’s durability for those little hands playing with this fun Playset and here is one last look…I just love that dinosaur that looks like he is eating the tree!

I think this is a fabulous playset especially for on the go – and you know what?  I think I’d like to play with one too – is 50 too old do you think?!
