Welcome to 3-D Thursday and this week it was my turn to create a little something and I wanted to make something pretty to hold some Easter goodies plus use some of the beautiful papers in the FREE pack of Paper Blooms DSP to do it…

Further down this post you will find a link to the FREE Project Sheet that has step by step instructions & color photos that you can save to your computer or print out and have on hand for easy reference PLUS you will find a full list of Supplies used to make this at the end of this post.

And here is what I came up with…how pretty did they turn out?!  So happy and fun which is needed right now – we’ve had crazy weather these past two weeks here in Central Texas and I wanted to make something bright and fun!

These are super easy and fun to put together – the base box is a Clear Tiny Treat Box that I filled with some Hershey Extra Creamy Eggs – nom nom!  You could of course mix the colors of eggs in the box but I decided to make one all blue and one all green – the blue reminds me of a vase of water and the green – grass in the garden!

The flowers are fussy cut from sheets of patterned paper that you can find in PAPER BLOOMS DESIGNER SERIES PAPERSand right now (and for the next 3 days only) you can choose this pack of papers FOR FREE WITH A $50 ORDER during Sale-a-bration!  How neat is that?

Here is a closer look at the first one…even the paper that I used to create the borders around the bottom of the boxes is from that same paper pack!

Here is a birds eye view – the paper flowers and stems are adhered to white lollipop sticks and the front one goes through a hole I punched in the lid…

Here is a closer look at the second one…I adhered the flowers onto the lollipop sticks with a Dimensional so that they pop out a bit…

The back taller flower simply slots down where the lid flap is tucked and is held in place by all of those luscious eggs…

Here are the pretty patterned papers that you get in the FREE pack of PAPER BLOOMS Designer Series Papers – click HERE to find it in the store:
