Welcome to 3-D Thursday and this week it was my turn to create a little something and I came up with a fun to make Halloween Birdcage Luminary!

And here it is…this was so much fun to create & make!
It is simply a strip of black cardstock that I die cut birdcages into each of the sides using a die from Birdhouse Dies that you can find in the Annual Catalog…
I then added vellum panels on the inside and die cut Vellum birdcages to adhere to the outside of them.
The birds are cut using dies from Birdhouse Dies and the bats using dies from Scary Silhouettes Dies – and the tree branches that the birds are sitting on?
They are off-cuts from using the large die in Aspen Tree Dies – as soon as I saw those off-cuts I knew they would make great spooky branches for a Halloween project!
Here is a nighttime look – be sure to ONLY use a LED tea light in here – I found fun flickering ones that give a really spooky & warm effect!
I love the glow!
