3D Thursday is here with a witchy themed Halloween Door Hanger Treat!

Welcome to 3-D Thursday and this week I had the honor of being asked to created a little something and I came up with this fun little Halloween treat perfect for hanging on a neighbor, co-worker or friend’s door – or even for the kids in your home!

I had so much fun making it!  The basic box was created using the Pocket Thoughts Dies to cut out two pocket pieces – I added a strip of cardstock between the two pieces to create a box.

I used papers from Halloween Spells DSP and used dies from Potions & Spells Dies to cut out the cauldron and bubbles…and the broom which is die cut out of Old Olive Glimmer Paper

I added the cauldron, bubbles and bat onto a piece of Window Sheet to give them a little definition from the very patterned book stack background paper – the cauldron was added on with dimensionals as were some of the bubbles and the bat…

The bat is a sticker from the Halloween Spells DSP & Sticker Sheet Pack – I wanted to add a dimensional to it so it pops out and to do this I simply popped a small black dimensional in the center and then sprinkled baby powder over it – you then shake off the excess…

Take off the backing paper of the dimensional and add to your project – the rest of it is no longer sticky and the wings will not stick to the project!

There is a lot of room for treats – as you can see you can fit in a tube of M&Ms along with other candies – plus a box of Peeps Halloween Marshmallows also fit in here nicely too!

I added some white cardstock to the back to write a message on…

And you can size the length of ribbon to ensure it fits on any door handle or knob…

I also love the raggedy edge look at the top of this gift holder – created using two dies from Deckled Rectangle Dies – I love that they are ‘nesting’ dies so that you can layer them!

And finally the tag – stamped using a stamp from Potions & Spells and cut out using a tag die from Greetings of the Season Dies
