Welcome to 3-D Thursday and this week I had the pleasure of being asked to created a little something and I came up with a cute way to hold a gift card and some chocolates in a Book Treat Box!
Further down this post you will find a link to the FREE Project Sheet that has step by step instructions & color photos that you can save to your computer or print out and have on hand for easy reference PLUS you will find a full list of Supplies used to make this at the end of this post.
The base of this treat holder is the cover piece from Book Treat Boxes and I covered it using paper from Reindeer Days DSP.
The gift card holder on top is super easy to create using a die from Pocket Thoughts Dies and paper from Take a Bow DSP – I love the small print designs in that pack!
Now to go inside…the closure flap simply slides under the sentiment tag that was shaped using a die from Greetings of the Season Dies – simply pull it out…
And open it up to reveal chocolate goodies and a cute scene!
How fun is that? The wagon was created using stamps & dies from the Filled with Fun Bundle – the glittery green paper is from Festive Glimmer Paper and the snowy backdrop is from Nests of Winter DSP.
The snowflake was created using a die from One of a Kind Dies and the tree was created using a die from Merriest Trees Dies – you can find full instructions on how to make that cute 3D tree in the free Project Sheet below…
The gifts are Hershey Nuggets covered in cute paper from Reindeer Days DSP – so easy and so effective!
And that cute festive twine bow is Real Red & White Baker’s Twine…
And the finishing touches are more snowflakes on the top along with scattered Iridescent Faceted Gems inside and out to give some real holiday sparkle!
