When I was needing to package up some cookies individually this week to give as teacher gifts I realized that I had the perfect gift bags in my stamping studio – the Tag a Bag Gift Bags – that you can find on pg 158 of the annual Catalog or online by clicking HERE – they are an absolute bargain at just $3.95 for 10 food safe printed paper bags…
I popped a cookie into each bag and it would have been absolutely fine just as is, but me being me, I had to add a few little somethings to jazz it up LOL – and here it is…
I absolutely LOVE these bags for their value for money and usability for any occasion – and that chevron pattern is so on trend right now!
The ribbon…so once I had popped a cookie inside, I folded the top over and simply wrapped around a piece of Baked Brown Sugar Ruffle Stretch Trim and tied a knot in the front to secure it…
The tag…I then decided to make a tag using a stamp from Chalk Talk (pg 12) and stamped it onto Very Vanilla cardstock using Baked Brown Sugar ink – I punched it out using my 1 3/8″ Circle Punch, made a small hole in the top and threaded through a piece of Linen Thread, which I then tied on to my ribbon. I also adhered my tag to the bag using a Dimensional so that it didn’t move around.
The button…is from Very Vintage Designer Buttons (pg 169) and I tied a bow using Linen Thread into it, and added it to my gift bag using a Mini Glue Dot…
I love how this cute bag turned out and I made a batch of them in just half an hour…
