That’s right – I had the HUGE honor of writing a tutorial as part of Splitcoaststampers Holiday Blitz that is going on this week!!!
When I started out stamping & scrapbooking I would spend hours there looking at all of the wonderful ideas, wondering if I could ever possibly make anything like what I saw and then learning from those ideas and everyone’s experience and help…and this began my love of playing with paper, stamps & glitter!
And so to be asked to be a guest Author was such a huge honor – I squealed LOL – it is such a wonderful way that I can contribute back to such a valuable community where I learned so much and TODAY is the day that my tutorial is published!
You can find my tutorial over at Splitcoaststampers by clicking HERE
It is for a fun treat that I made last year featuring an Elf Shoe and a stack of cookies…you make a cute festive colored elf shoe base and into it you pop a ‘stocking’ of sandwich cookies – you can get red & green filled cookies in grocery stores right now and they are perfect for this project…
Please note – when I made the tutorial last month there were no festive colored sandwich cookies in the stores yet and so I had to use white sandwich ones which is what you see above!
BUT here are the original ones that I made last year when those red & green cookies were available…
Aren’t they cute?! I love these little treats and they are super fun & economical to make!
If you want to find out how to make some of your own, please hop on over to find my tutorial at Splitcoaststampers by clicking HERE – you will also find the template that you can print out and a video tutorial there too…
That was MY FIRST EVER VIDEO – so please excuse any bumps & hiccups in it – I was incredibly nervous when making it!!!
If you have any questions about making these please click here to email me and I will be very happy to help.
