Welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop for November! We have a pretty set of colors to work with this month and the challenge is that we have to use ALL of these colors on our projects!
I saw that color line up and my first thought based on those blues & the vanilla was SNOW!!! And so I decided to go with that as my theme to create a holiday card using the browns to create a little bit of a vintage feel…
The cloudy sky background behind the tree was created by inking up a stamp from Beautiful Blizzard with Crumb Cake Ink and stamping it off onto a piece of scrap paper, and then stamping a second time onto Vanilla cardstock.
The tree is stamped using Early Espresso Ink and those pretty frosted dots give an ornament look and are from Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets…
The small snowflakes are cut from Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana & Crumb Cake cardstocks using dies from Snowfall Thinlits Dies (ONLY available during November – click HERE to find them!) and the larger snowflake is cut using Blizzard Thinlits…
I love the little swirly image at the bottom…I think it gives a little snow movement to the card…
I hope you enjoyed my card for today and be sure to take the whole hop by using the buttons below to continue in a circle – you can either go backwards to Beverlee or forwards to Debbie – there are A LOT of pretty cards to give you some inspiration!
