Welcome to 3-D Thursday and this week we have a pretty piece of home decor for you just in time for Valentine’s day!
This week’s project was created by the fabulously lovely Twila Davis over at Stamp a Little Longer and she came up with this sweet project – further down this post you will find a link to the FREE Project Sheet that has step by step instructions & color photos so that you can create your own beautiful project.
And here is what Twila came up with…isn’t this just darling?
What a great way to put those wood blocks to use if you have converted your stamps to use acrylic blocks – but if you can’t part with those, you can use any other wood blocks to create your project.
I love that she used wood blocks of different sizes for this project and she covered them all with beautiful papers from All My Love DSP that you can find in the Occasions Catalog.
The letters are die cut using Large Letters Framelits dies from Lovely Lipstick cardstock and that heart is cut using a die from Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies…
The flowers & leaves decorating the letters are cut from the patterned paper and you can see Pearls in the flower centers and on the heart and the E…
That is a very cute finishing touch! To display the finished project you can line the blocks up like the first photo OR stagger them like this…
Or like this…the choice is yours!
What a BEAUTIFUL way to use up old wood stamping blocks and just by switching out the patterned papers and lettering you can theme these for any occasion!
Here are the designs you get in that beautiful pack of All My Love Designer Series Papers – which would you choose to use? I love the white floral sheet and the solid red hearts best! Click HERE to find this pack of paper in the store:

I actually love the DP in your sample the best out of all those in the pack. I think the pink is so pretty with the crumb cake background. I have always loved pink and brown together though. I’ve only changed one wood block set over to cling mount. So I would have to do a few more to come up with enough blocks of any size. Fun project!
