The 3-D Thursday creators are on summer break but I realized that I completely forgot to post the last project that I made for the team back in May – whoops! So I decided better late than never and here it is – it’s a cute bird themed one!

And here it is…a Box filled with sweet Mini Notecards & Envelopes…
ALL of the stamps that I used on this project are from the set Sweet Songbirds and the bird is shaped using the coordinating Songbird Builder Punch. I choose Balmy Blue Ink to stamp the bird and some fun vibrant colors from the Brights collection for the leaves & flowers…
And when you undo that bow and remove the twine, you pop off the lid to reveal a stack of Notecards & Envelopes nestled inside!
The Notecards are sized 3×3 and they fit perfectly into the Basic White 3×3 Envelopes (which are actually sized 3 1/8″ square so you cards will fit in there nicely)
I made three different card designs and made three of each giving me 9 cards in total – that red bird is stamped using Poppy Parade Ink and I love the bright splash of color!
And I decorated the envelopes with little flowers and leaves in the corners as a cute finishing touch…
The cards & envelopes fit into the box perfectly – in fact you could fit a few more in as there is a bit more space!
The box is super easy to create and you can theme it for anything you like – I am thinking this would be a great little gift for a teacher for Thanksgiving…or Christmas…they are always in need of a supply of thank you cards!
