Have you seen the January Key to My Heart Paper Pumpkin Heart Boxes Add-On Kit? In it you get everything you need to create and decorate 10 heart shaped treat boxes.
Mine arrived and when I opened it I saw that you actually get 10 top pieces and 10 bottom pieces giving you a total of 20 hearts to work with and my creative wheels got spinning to come up with an alternative way to use them – and a fun Valentine’s Day Banner was born!

I simply punched holes on the back of the heart pieces to thread the baker’s twine through to create a string of hearts – the twine came from the Key to My Heart Paper Pumpkin Kit.
I then die cut letters using the new Alphabet a la Mode Dies and adhered them to Vellum circles so that they stand out…
I used the Country Bouquet Punch to punch out hearts and leaves from Country Floral Lane DSP to decorate.
I also stamped some Sweet Sorbet and Mint Macaron hearts using stamps from the set Country Bouquet…
The sparkly dots are from the new Flat Adhesive Backed Pearls – they really make a pretty finishing touch!
Please note – as of writing this blog post the Country Bouquet Punch is currently unavailable for order – HOWEVER the Country Floral Lane DSP & Country Bouquet Stamp Set ARE ORDERABLE – you can easily cut out the heart and leaves using sharp scissors such as Paper Snips in the meantime!
