I can’t believe it is that time of year already – Stampin’ Up! have just released the lists of Stamp Sets and Accessories that are officially retiring with the Spring Summer Catalog on June 30th…you can find these lists by clicking on the links to the right of this post…
ALL items on the Last Chance Accessories List are WHILST STOCKS LAST – once they are out of stock, they are gone for good – this list includes ALL of the In Color ink pads, refills, ribbons cardstocks, embellishments, DSPs – anything that contains the current In Colors – if you want to stock up on these you need to do so quickly as traditionally the In Color items SELL OUT FAST. Also on this list are other DSPs, rub-ons, Wheels and ribbons…including the fabulous Urban Garden DSP…I’ll be sad to see it go…check out the elegant card I made using it below…
This card has a base of Basic Gray onto which I attached a piece of Whisper White 5/8″ Satin Ribbon from the Occasions Mini Catalog. I then matted a piece of *Baha Breeze Textured Cardstock onto it using Dimensionals.
I cut a piece of paper from the *Urban Garden DSP pack to make 3 panels and adhered them to the base. I stamped my sentiment from Define Your Life (pg 147) in Versamark Ink onto Vellum Cardstock (pg 156) and sprinkled on White Embossing Powder that I set using my Heat Tool. I cut it to size and using a glue dot on the end to be covered by a grommet, adhered it to the card.
I took a White Jumbo Grommet from the Occasions Mini Catalog and pushed the legs on the back down using my Bone Folder – I adhered it to the card using glue dots and finally took a little piece of Satin Ribbon, tied a knot and adhered it to the grommet center using a glue dot.
By switching the sentiment you can make this card suitable for any occasion – isnt it elegant? I need to stock up on this fabulous paper before it goes for good…
