I love the new In Color Razzleberry…together with Soft Suede they are just my favorite colors to work with right now.

I decided to use these colors together with some DSP and a fabulous Bigz Die to create a very striking and bold birthday card which is very easy and quick to make and by changing the sentiment it can easily become a thank you or a thinking of you card…I got the idea for this card from a friend who I met at Convention – Trina – who had made some fabulous swaps using this technique :-)

The card base is the standard 5 1/2 x 5 1/4 size and uses Razzleberry Textured Cardstock. I adhered some DSP from the Razzleberry Lemonade pack onto the base and attached a piece of Soft Suede Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon.

I then used my Flower Daisies #2 Bigz Die to cut out the daisies and layered them ontop of one another. I attached this to the card using a Pop-Up Glue Dot. I stamped my sentiment from one of my favorite sets – Teeny Tiny Wishes – and punched it out using the Word Window Punch. I trimmed one edge and attached it to my card and there you have a very simple, quick to make and visually striking card :-)

And some fabulous news…I am taking part in a Holiday Mini Blog Hop that goes live at noon , Saturday 29th August – be sure to come back and check out some fabulous ideas that I have come up with for using my stamp set, the brand new Pumpkin Patch – I also have some yummy Blog Candy up for grabs too, details of which you can see on the side bar – see you then :-)
