My card below features stamps from this set along with words from the set Fabulous Phrases and the new colors Marina Mist and Early Espresso which work so well together…
I made this card for this week’s Stampin’ Addicts Sketch Challenge – I used my Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder (pg 214) to make a textured background and my Eyelet Border Punch (pg 201) to create a dotted edge on my mat. I stamped my bird and cage and then matted them onto a piece of paper from the Elegant Soiree DSP pack (pg 175)…
I added my sentiment using stamps from the set Fabulous Phrases and used Circle Punches to continue the dot theme…finally I added some 5/8″ Early Espresso Grosgrain Ribbon and simply by changing the sentiment you have one cute card suitable for birthdays, thank yous, thinking of yous, friendship cards…this set is perfect for many many occasions.
You can find Aviary on pg 122 and Fabulous Phrases on pg 149 of the Catalog – they are both very versatile sets and you will use them for many occasions for years to come – they were top of my wish list when the new catalog came out and I am delighted with the amount of use I have gotten out of them after just 6 weeks – they will be in my collection forever!
