I received the most gorgeous Halloween card from my wonderful friend & upline Stella and just had to show it off…
I love the color combo that she chose – Old Olive and Basic Black work sooo well together and if you look closely you will see a little sparkly Rhinestone tucked in there with the spider which is a great finishing touch…click on the photo to see a larger image…
How did Stella make it? She used Old Olive for her card base and added a layer of patterned paper from the Brights Designer Series Paper Stack (pg 175) with a black cardstock band across the center.
To make her feature, she used a stamp from the set From the Crypt (pg 25) and stamped it using Black Ink onto Whisper White cardstock…she then used Old Olive ink to sponge around the edges to get that cool effect. Her ‘Happy Halloween’ sentiment is taken from one of my favorite sets ‘Teeny Tiny Wishes’ and she added a Rhinestone (pg 188) to her spider….
Finally she attached it to a mat of Basic Black and then to her card base – what a very dramatic and gorgeous card – thank you Stella!
