I wanted to create a card where you can see a nativity scene through doors – kind of peeking through into their world – and so got to work to design some…

You can cut window panes into these doors or leave them as solid doors – you could use the stamp Woodgrain to create a great look for them – this is a background stamp with – you guessed it – a wood texture effect that would give a fabulous look to these doors…please read on for details on how to make him along with a link to the printable tutorial plus find out who won Tuesday’s blog candy…

I used Basic black for my card base and stamped my nativity scene using Versamark Ink and a stamp from Rejoicing in Christmas that you can find in the Holiday Mini Catalog – I sprinkled on Silver Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool…

I did the same thing for my snowflakes and stamped them onto Night of Navy cardstock – didn’t they turn out cute?

My star – I stamped it using Versamark onto Brushed Silver cardstock and sprinkled on Black Embossing Powder and heat set it…and for the door handles I used Black Brads…

The doors – made from Soft Suede cardstock – easy to make and a cute look…
