I absolutely LOVE the stamp set Tea Shoppe that you can find on pg 19 of the Occasions Mini Catalog…
Why? Because it is SO versatile & has several sentiments in it meaning you can use it for lots of different occasions – exactly what I look for when investing in a stamp set.
My card that I am showing you today is one that I designed for members of my Team who reach a sales target for February – they will each receive one of these cards plus a kit containing everything they need to make 10 of these cards with envelopes…
The card base is Soft Suede onto which i layered a piece of Pool Party that is textured using my Big Shot and Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder – don’t you just love how those two colors work well together?
I then added a strip of Soft Suede that I edged on the bottom edge using my Scallop Edge Border Punch – and then I layered a piece of Early Espresso onto this to give a contrast between my top and bottom layers…
Those Teacups? They are so sweet and are stamped using a stamp from Tea Shoppe – that particular stamp has all 3 tea cups on it making this card a breeze to make – simply ink & stamp – done!
Then I decided my card needed a little definition and so I decided to stamp those tea cups again and trim one out using Paper Snips – you can leave the inside of the cup handle or you can cut out the little bit of cardstock in there with a Craft Knife like I did – and then I added it to on top of the center cup with Dimensionals…
That CUTE flower? SO easy to add – it is the smallest daisy from the pack of Paper Daisies (pg 198) – I simply added a Daffodil Delight colored Brad (pg 199) to the center and attached it to my card using a Mini Glue Dot.
The sentiment? Uses two stamps from Tea Shoppe – I first stamped the outer frame and then used my Stamp-a-majig (pg 207) to perfectly align the sentiment inside of it – and then I punched it out using my Modern Label Punch (pg 209)…
I added it to my card base using Dimensionals and added a little Pearl (pg 198) to each end for a cute touch…

This stamp set is on it’s way to me and I CAN’T wait! I debated it for so long, trying to show some restraint but after Leadership and the beautiful samples I saw, I caved. BUT–of all the beautiful ideas I have seen used with this, i LOVE the simplicity and ….I don’t know…..perfectness (??) of this card! It is striking…..and i never know what to do with those tiny flowers!! Thanks for the inspiration!
