Because it is chilly here this morning, it made me think of sweaters…which in turn got me digging out my pack of Sweater Weather DSP and I decided to use some of the beautiful fall themed papers in it to make a cute and easy to make Punch Art Turkey…
My Turkey uses just 3 basic punches and scraps of cardstocks & patterned papers – if you want to make some of your own, I have a FREE Printable Tutorial for you! Please scroll down to find the link…
Here he is…
I love how he turned out – and I love that he looks like he is holding that Happy Thanksgiving sign!
What do you need to make him?
Punches…click on the blue words below to see each in the online store:
- 119855 Large Oval Punch
- 119868 1″ Circle Punch
- 119860 1 3/8″ Circle Punch
Cardstock…I used Early Espresso for his body & two of his tail features – and Tangerine Tango for his beak.
Patterned Papers…I used orange & yellow patterned papers from Sweater Weather DSP that you can find on pg 18 of the Holiday Catalog – click HERE to find it in the online store – here are the papers you get in that pack…
Happy Thanksgiving sentiment…I then used a stamp from Teeny Tiny Wishes to create my sentiment and punched it out using the Modern Label Punch – then I punched out that shape again, this time from orange DSP and cut it in half – I attached a piece to each end on the back of my sentiment shape and added it to my card using Dimensionals…click on the photo below for a closer look…
I think he turned out cute – and you don’t have to add a sentiment to keep it even more simple – here he is without one…
