Tomorrow is the last day of school before the Thanksgiving break and so I wanted to make a batch of cards for the girls’ to give to their teachers…

I only have a little while to make them today and so I decided to go with something simple but bold – and then I realized that I have the perfect stamp for the job in my stash…

It is called Magnificent Maple and you can find it on pg 18 of the Holiday Catalog or online by clicking HERE – it is a single bold stamp featuring a gorgeous and detailed maple leaf…

Please excuse the bad light in my photo – it is very overcast today and I struggled to get a good shot of it!!!

The card base…is simply Whisper White onto which I layered a piece of Cajun Craze cut to be sized 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ – I then cut another mat from White cardstock to measure 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ to stamp my images on to…

The leaf…is simply that gorgeous Magnificent Maple stamp, stamped using Cajun Craze ink – I LOVE how detailed this leaf is…

The sentiment…now this is a sneak peak – the ‘thank you’ stamp that I used for my card is from a stamp set that is coming out in January which is featured in the Occasions Mini Catalog – it is a beautiful stamp set called ‘Happy Watercolor’ and I can’t wait to show you more samples made using stamps from that set soon…

Once I stamped my images, I added this layer to my card base using Dimensionals,,,
