I just mailed out a thank you card to my customers who have ordered with me during October and love how this card turned out…

I love to leave the card that I mail to them ‘blank’ inside so that they can re-use it and so I make them seasonal and with Thanksgiving on the horizon, October’s card had a thankful Fall theme.

And here it is…I am loving those fall colors…

This card is fun to make because I used several dies on it – LOVE playing with my Big Shot & dies!

The card base…is Soft Suede onto which I layered a piece of Cajun Craze – I also taped a triple strand piece of Linen Thread (pg 206) about 1/3rd of the way down and tied a bow onto the center of it.

The wood background…is a fabulous large background stamp called Hardwood (pg 175) – I stamped this wood image using Soft Suede ink onto a piece of Soft Suede cardstock for a strong but not overpowering backdrop…

The wreath…that lovely wreath is made using three stamps from the set Wonderous Wreath (pg 9 Holiday Catalog) – you layer the stamps on top of one another and to make lining them up easy, each stamp has a tab at the top that you use as a guide…

The bottom stamp was stamped using Crushed Curry Ink, the next layer Cajun Craze and the top layer of berries is Blackberry Bliss – I then die cut this wreath out using two perfectly co-ordinating dies from Wonderful Wreath Framelits (also on pg 9) and attached my wreath to the base using Dimensionals…

The sentiment…is from the set For All Things (pg 41 Holiday Catalog) – I stamped it using Soft Suede ink and cut it out using a banner die from Banners Framelits (pg 231).

The leaves…aren’t they cute?  I used two leaf dies from Fun Fall Framelits (pg 46 Holiday Catalog) to cut them out of Soft Suede, Crushed Curry & Tangelo Twist cardstocks…

I love how this card turned out and hope that my customers love it to – they get a thank you card every month that they place an order with me and I always include a little gift in with it just to show how thankful I am for them…LOVE my customers!
