Have you seen the super sweet set Yummy in my Tummy featured on pg 16 of the Occasions Catalog? The stamps in it are PERFECT for making some quick, last minute Valentine treats – I made four today (complete with free tutorials!) and you can see them all below…
If you haven’t planned your Valentine treats yet, it’s not too late to order this set and make some quick easy treats like I did – and to keep them really simple, I didn’t color the monsters in – I simply stamped them onto Tip Top Taupe cardstock which is a great thing if you are in a hurry or don’t enjoy coloring images in!
Here is the first one…this little cut out monster adorns a 2×8 Cellophane Bag filled with Hershey Kisses and sealed with a piece of Melon Mambo Bakers Twine…
Isn’t he cute? I simply stamped him, cut him out with Paper Snips, added the tummy pieces that I cut using two Circle Punches and attached him to the cello bag with tape – fast & fun!
The hearts were die cut using a die from Sweet & Sassy Framelits Dies and popped in place with Mini Glue Dots…
And here is the completed project…I found those colorful kisses in Target – they also have fun sayings on the bottoms…
Next up is a monster with a window in his belly through which you see some Valentine M&Ms…oh my, I love how happy he looks…I would be too if I’d just eaten that many M&Ms LOL!!!
This time I stamped my monster onto Tip Top Taupe and die cut a circle out of his belly using a die from Layering Circle Framelits – I then filled a Gusseted Cellophane Bag with M&Ms and made a Quick Valentine Treat Holder to hold the bag behind him…
This is a super easy treat holder to make and at the end of this post you will find a link to a FREE printable/downloadable Tutorial showing you exactly how I made it including supplies & dimensions…
Here is a birds eye view…that beautiful red ribbon is from Sending Love Ribbon Combo Pack that you can find in the Occasions Catalog…
Up next is a card that features a monster with a chocolate heart…
Oh my when I saw that chocolate heart I just knew the project for it! It is a Ghiradelli Heart Square and I simply repackaged it in a Cello Bag to use on my card because I wanted the whole heart to show through the circle die cut…
You can find a FREE printable/downloadable Project Sheet detailing step by step how to make this card in a link at the end of this post – look for the red text!
And there is a space inside to write a note to that special someone…
And the last one is super quick & easy…it is the same treat holder as I used before but with a different treat and is even quicker to make…
That sweet monster again but this time no circle die cut in his tummy – simply two layering circles made using Circle Punches and a die cut heart.
And behind is simply a Hershey’s marshmallow filled chocolate heart…with the added bonus that it too looks pretty!
Well, they are my four quick & easy to make treats – I hope this gives you some inspiration if you are needing it…and so hope that it’s not too late if you are like me, and tend to leaves things to the last minute LOL!!!
