Oh my gosh I cannot wait for you to get your hands on the brand new glitter papers if you haven’t already – hands down, they are one of my most favorite new products – the colors are just gorgeous!

The Glimmer Paper Assortment Pack will be added to the line up of items that you can get for free during Sale-a-bration on February 21st and one of the card samples that Stampin’ Up! have on their flyer for these features glitter papers with die cut flowers – the moment I saw that card, I knew had to make one of my own!

Here is my version of that card…I mailed these out to congratulate the top achieving Ink Spot Stampers on my team this week – I hope they like it!

You will find a link to the printable/downloadable Project Sheet detailing all measurements, colors & instructions on how to make this card below – look for the red text!

I don’t often CASE cards but this one I just had to – I love how the pink & green glitter papers work so well together and die cutting them really shows them off…

Check out the beauty of that Sweet Sugarplum glitter paper peeking through the die cut flower – LOVE it!  I cut the flowers using my Big Shot & dies from Stylish Stems Framelits that you can find on pg 42 of the Occasions Catalog – I used the Magnetic Platform to hold my die in the exact place I wanted it – if you don’t yet have one of these, I highly recommend it – it holds your dies in perfect position so that they don’t move when you run them through your Big Shot…

The leaves are also die cut using a die from that same set and the color of glitter paper is Mint Macaron…I’m going to miss that color when it retires in June…sniff…

Here you can see that I dotted them around and wrapped one over the banner – I used my Fine Tip Glue Pen to attach them and it works really well on these thin cut dies…

And my sentiment is a stamp from Builder Birdcage that you can find on pg 36 of the Occasions Catalog – if you like birdcages, you are going to LOVE that stamp set!

I shaped the end of that strip using the Banner Triple Bunch – such a useful punch, it allows you to create banner shapes for strips of paper up to 2″ wide…it is perfect for bookmarks as well as banners…

Here is a wide angle look – I tell ya, I just can’t get enough of this glitter paper – it just SO pretty!
