Welcome to this Stampin for Autism Blog Hop! I t is special because we are hoping to bring more awareness to Autism and figure that stamping is a great way to do it in our crafty world!
April is Autism Awareness Month and some fabulous demonstrators have joined together to share their beautiful creations dedicated to Autism Awareness.
Every project you see as you hop today will be using the colors red, blue and yellow which are the colors for autism awareness and each blog has a fact about Autism so that you might learn more as you hop along with a fundraising link.
And here is my card…clean & simple but my goal for this hop was to create a heartwarming and uplifting card…
The tree was stamped with a stamp from Sheltering Tree and the flowers punched out using the Tree Builder Punch…
The clouds were die cut using dies from Up & Away Thinlits and the cute little bird was stamped with stamp from Sprinkles of Life and cut out with the Tree Builder Punch…
And here is one last look – I hope my card makes you smile!
Here is my fact about Autism – even more significant to me since I actually have identical twins…
If one identical twin is diagnosed with autism, the other twin has about 90% chance of develop an autistic disorder.
Today we are hoping to support a charity who’s goal is to use research to look at the social, educational, and treatment concerns of self-advocates, parents, autism professionals, and caregivers.
If you would like to donate, please click on the heart shaped button below and select ‘KELLY’ from the list as she is our blog hop leader – any amount helps…
