Welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop for June! We have a bold set of colors to work with this month and the challenge is that we have to use ALL of these colors on our projects!
I decided to incorporate some new products on my card because they go LIVE FOR ORDER TOMORROW – yeehaw!!! But I also realized that a retiring set of dies that features clouds called UP & AWAY THINLITS – would work super well on this card too and as this is the LAST DAY to get them, I decided to show them off too just in case you realize how badly you NEED THEM before they go!
Sooo here is my card…a bit of an up in the clouds theme which feels perfect for the first day of the kids summer break when everything is a bit up in the air!
The hot air balloon and sentiment stamps are from the new set ABOVE THE CLOUDS that is available from June 4th – I stamped the blue ink once on a piece of scrap and then onto my white cardstock for a more subtle image. The black lines are stamped over the top using a coordinating stamp that you simply line up over the blue one and stamp down – and guess what?
Absolutely NO fussy cutting required since there is also a coordinating HOT AIR BALLOON PUNCH – yessss!!! Both are available in the ABOVE THE CLOUDS BUNDLE (#151135) that also gives you 10% OFF from TOMORROW June 4th!
See those puffy clouds? Created using dies from the RETIRING set of dies called UP & AWAY THINLITS and some Sparkle Glimmer Paper – this is your LAST DAY TO PURCHASE THOSE CLOUD SHAPED DIES that work so well with the Hot Air Balloon Bundle – CLICK HERE to find them in the store!
The hearts were cut out using a die from Stitched Be Mine Dies and I dotted around some Clear & Frosted Droplets on the background to add a little whimsy.
Speaking of the background…easy to create using the fabulous Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder – what a fantastic folder that is and super versatile – if you don’t yet have it, it’s a must have!
