Welcome to 3-D Thursday and this week it was my turn to create a little something and I came up with a Valentine’s treat that holds 3 yummy Ghirardelli Squares that you can knock up in literally minutes!

Further down this post you will find a link to the FREE Project Sheet that has step by step instructions & color photos that you can save to your computer or print out and have on hand for easy reference PLUS you will find a full list of Supplies used to make this at the end of this post.

And here it is…a clean & simple Valentine’s treat that takes minutes to make with just a few supplies…

SUPER simple and SUPER economical to make with no special tools required – the base of this treat holder is simply a piece of 8″ x 2″ cardstock plus two end pieces that measure 1″ x 2″ each – this means that from one standard sheet of 8 1/2″ x 11″ cardstock you can cut FOUR entire treat bases – how cool is that?!

Inside fits 3 Ghirardelli Chocolate Squares or you can put other chocolates in there – Hershey Nuggets also work well…

You can leave your treat holder plain cardstock and pop a simple tag onto it or bling it up like I have done – I covered mine with pretty patterned papers that you can find in the pack From My Heart Specialty DSP – LOVE those hearts! – and tied a bow on top using the beautiful Real Red Double Stitched Satin Ribbon – check out the pretty detail on that ribbon…

The large heart tag on the front is a stamp from the set Be Mine that you can find in the annual Catalog and I cut it out using coordinating dies from Stitched Be Mine Dies…

One last look at this pretty Valentine’s treat – I love how the stitching around the die cut heart coordinates with the ribbon…

I hope you want to make one or a few too – they really are super easy and fun to create!
