Welcome to 3-D Thursday and this week it was my turn to create a little something and I decided to create a Box Card that folds down flat ready to mail in a standard A2 envelope!

Further down this post you will find a link to the FREE Project Sheet that has step by step instructions & color photos that you can save to your computer or print out and have on hand for easy reference PLUS you will find a full list of Supplies used to make this at the end of this post.

And here it is…ah this makes me SO HAPPY every time I look at it!

Oh my goodness those gnomes are ADORABLE and from the set Gnome for the Holidays – these little characters are just perfect for creating a little snow scene like this!

Here is a birds-eye view looking down into the card – there are two dividers that I created using shaped dies – one is from Home Together Dies and the other from Curvy Dies

So that this card is actually usable to put into an envelope to send or give to someone, it is designed so that you can lay the card flat and push to one side – it folds down!

And then you simply pop it into a standard A2 sized envelope – I used a Stampin’ Up! Medium Whisper White Envelope as you just cannot beat the quality!

How sweet is that?!   OK so onto the up close & personal details…

The background paper with falling snow is from Trimming the Town DSP and was just perfect for this project – the Gnomies are colored using Stampin’ Blends Markers (all colors I used are listed in the supply list below) – those characters are such fun to color as they make you smile as you do it!

Here is a close up of the front panel – the background was embossed with the Winter Snow Embossing Folder and the sentiment is a stamp from the Warm & Toasty stamp set – I used Misty Moonlight Ink to stamp it.

That pretty blue, silver & white trim is from Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo pack and those white dots and the yellow star are from All the Trimmings Embellishments.

And check out the back panel – a perfect space for writing your greeting!

Here is one last look at this fun & cheerful card…I am going to be mailing it to our Grandma who is 101 years young and I hope it will bring a smile to her face!

This card was so much fun to design and put together – the basic Box and Dividers are created from JUST ONE PIECE OF CARDSTOCK and four score lines!  How cool is that?
