Well, I’ve been playing with the March Paper Pumpkin Kit – Ten Years of Growth – and WOW did I wish I purchased more than one of them! Thankfully the Refill Kit is now available but I am impatiently waiting for it to arrive!
So in the meantime I got out the bonus FREE Stamp Set that came with this month’s kit – there was a flyer with instructions on how to make a card using those free stamps along with some of the die cuts from the kit but I had already used them up on my kit cards LOL and so I decided to go ahead and make a couple of cards but with a few tweaks…
Here is the first that has a Pool Party color theme:
All stamps are from the bonus free kit except for the ‘birthday’ one which was featured in the stamp set that was part of the kit.
I couldn’t quite decide where to put the birthday sentiment so I decided to do it differently on each card!
The second has a Calypso Coral theme:
The mats are die cut using two layering Deckled Rectangles Dies – I love this look!
Then I made a bonus card – this came about because just as I was finishing up coloring the big center flower, my cat jumped onto my table and made me jump leading to the marker skidding off to the right!
So instead of wasting it, I decided to cover the big smudge with a sentiment panel – the word ‘hello’ is from the Irresistible Blooms Stamp Set that is part of the NEW Online Exclusives Collection which I cut out using a small die from Deckled Rectangles Dies…
I love how they all turned out and plan to make a batch of them to keep on hand to use throughout the year.
