Welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop for December!  We have a frosty set of colors to work with this month and the challenge is that we have to use ALL of these colors on our projects!

Oh my gosh I love these colors and had a whole card planned out in my head using them as the main colors…but then I chose my main die and some neutrals popped in (which we are allowed to incorporate into our cards!) and it all kind of changed because then I realized I wanted to create a snowy woodland background around that main die cut feature!

And here is my card…find a link to a FREE PROJECT SHEET showing you show to make this card in my post below – look for the red words!

I love how this card turned out – so much so that it is going to be my December Customer Thank You card!  Want to receive one of these in the mail with your ‘thank you for ordering with me’ gift?  Simply place an order in my online store during December and you’ll be on the good list to get one!

Don’t you just love that deer?  He’s from Detailed Deer Dies from last year’s holiday catalog but is still available in the store!  I popped him on the top of a frame with a backdrop of snow falling behind him – with the Woodland embossed white layer, it really feels like he is popping out of the woods!

Check out the shine on that silver paper in the frame…and here you can also see the definition of the Woodland Embossing on the white cardstock mat…

By the way please excuse my hands…very unmanicured I’m afraid…I have hard working vegetable gardening/crazy chicken lady keeping hands that are hard to keep soft & tidy looking LOL!

The pretty ribbon is Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon and also has some silver strands in it giving even more sparkle!  The Blueberry Bushel snowflakes were cut out using a die from Seasonal Layers and I popped a Rhinestone Jewel into the top one…

And check out the Crumb Cake frame – super easy to create in just one cut using a die from Heirloom Frames Dies – and for even more texture I ran it through my die cutting machine with the Scripty Embossing Folder…

I dotted around some sequins and snowflakes from Snowflake Sequins and the one on the Believe tag I colored using my Seaside Spray Dark Blends to give it a little frosty look to stand out from the white tag…

Here is one last look – I just love the shine of the beautiful silver snowy background paper!
