I was looking through my stamp sets to find a beautiful flower that would look amazing with Iridescent Ice and came across one that has not yet seen ink – gasp! – it is called Apple Blossoms and is just gorgeous.

I love using Iridescent Ice on solid stamps for a big sparkly impact – it is so easy to use and gives a real ‘wow’ factor to your cards…

My card uses the colors Chocolate Chip, Baha Breeze & Whisper White – the beautiful patterned paper is from Greenhouse Gala DSP (pg 173) and I used the Scallop Edge Punch (pg 200) to trim & layer my mats…like the layout?  It is the Sketch Challenge layout for this week over at Stampin’ Addicts. Taking part in challenges is a great way to experiment and get your creative juices flowing…

My stem is stamped using Certainly Celery and my flower is stamped using More Mustard – like the sparkles on the flower?  That is Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder…cute, eh?  With Iridescent Ice you can add glitter to your stamped images and yet it still allows the color of the inks to show through from beneath…it gives a very classy sparkly look.  You can find it on pg 196 at just $4.75 for a tub that will last you a very long time – I have only purchased 2 tubs in 6 years!

Not used Iridescent Ice before and want to know about how to use it?  Click HERE for my easy to follow tutorial…

Here is a close-up of that sparkly flower – you can click on the photo for a closer view – it is hard to capture but in real life that flower is dazzling…

Have a wonderful and sparkly Monday!
