To welcome November which to me feels like the start of the Holiday season – after the long hot Texas summer, I am so happy for the cool weather that this season brings.
I love the colors of fall and to celebrate November I decided to feature a card that uses fall colors and beautiful leaves. I received this design of card in a swap a year or so ago and loved it instantly – it features a window panel made of acetate that gives it a very different look…
It’s a tough card to take a photo of because of the window but hopefully you get the idea from the photo above. I cannot remember the lady who originally designed this card, but if it was you please let me know and I will happily give you credit for it…
The papers I used on my card are from the Woodland Walk Designer Series Paper pack (pg 173) and my card base is Chocolate Chip. Those beautiful leaves were made by using my Big Shot and the Leaves #2 Original Die (pg 213) – I textured them using Texturz Plates (pg 215) and adhered them in place.
My stamps? From two sets – the leaf is from Falling Leaves (pg 28) and the sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes (pg 157)…and to create the acetate window, I used Window Sheets you can find on pg 205 – the medium thickness ones are fine for cards such as this.
This card is very clean and simple but has a cool and different twist to it which I love…enjoy making yours!
