I decided to enter this card for this month’s So Shelli Creative Challenge where we can only use stamps, ink and paper – here in Texas we are finally having some cooler mornings and evenings which has inspired me to use Fall colors which I decided to use on my card below :-)
The stamps I used are the oval and circle stamps from the brand new Pumpkin Patch set that is in the upcoming Holiday Mini Catalog – I love to ‘think outside the box’ and come up with different ways to use stamps in a given set to increase their versatility and so decided to use them to make the flower in the card below…
The cardstocks I used are Chocolate Chip, More Mustard, Creamy Caramel and Very Vanilla.
I stamped the ovals using Pumpkin Pie, Really Rust, More Mustard, Close to Cocoa and Creamy Caramel and the circle using Chocolate Chip – I cut them out with my paper snips and adhered them to a square of Very Vanilla which I distressed on the edges. I then attached this square onto a piece of patterned DSP from the Pawsitively Prints pack.
I ran a piece of Chocolate Chip cardstock through the Big Shot using the Perfect Details Texturz Plate and cut the frame to size using my craft knife and mat – I used dimensionals to mount this over the flower image to create a framed window effect and I then mounted this onto a piece of Creamy Caramel on which I used my Paper Piercing Tool around the edge and layered it into on to two more pieces of cardstock.
Finally I stamped my sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes (which I just love – you can find it on pg 145 of the catalog) and punched it out with my Word Window punch and adhered it to the card – and there is a card using those beautiful Fall colors :-)
