Today I decided to make some thank you cards to mail out to my customers who have placed an order with me recently.

I wanted to be able to ‘stamp a stack’ and keep it pretty simple – which is what I like to do when I have quite a few cards to make – but I also wanted to add a few features too…

So I decided on my design and used stamps from Aviary along with a cute sentiment, added layers and an easy background using papers from First Edition Specialty DSP

I used just 3 colors – Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla – and love how elegant this combo always turns out.

I used my trusty Stamp-a-ma-jig to position & stamp all my images – I stamped my bird cage and bird using stamps from Aviary and added my sentiment which is from the Hostess set Apple Blossoms (pg 12)…

I tied around a piece of Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding which you can find on pg 16 of the Occasions Mini Catalog and finished with a knot in front…

That typewritten background?  Such an easy addition – it is simply a piece of patterned paper from First Edition Specialty DSP featured on pg 25 of the Mini Catalog – and that pack of papers is an utter bargain because for just $11.95 you get 24 sheets of double sided 12×12 papers – it’ll last you ages and is perfect to create easy backgrounds!

And there it is – one cute card just perfect for making a bunch of to have on hand.

Want one of these cards? Place your order with me during March and you will find one of these cute cards in your mailbox, along with a few extra thank you goodies tucked inside!
