At last I got around to playing with my goodies that I ordered from the upcoming Summer Mini Catalog that debuts on May 1st…

My order has been sitting here for a week now and today was my first chance to get into it and have fun…and lots of fun I had!

I couldn’t wait to play with a set that really caught my eye in the Summer Mini – it is called Touch of Kindness and features adorable images just perfect for the warm months ahead.

So this is what I made using it – for a closer view click on the photo…

Cute eh?!  I LOVE that cat image and when I first saw it I knew I had to have this set – that cat reminds me of our very own little fur baby named Punkin who is 7 months old and a REAL handful…you can find a photo of his-naughtiness below!

My card uses the colors Whisper White and Marina Mist – I wanted to give a background feature to it and so I framed my central panel by texturing a piece of white cardstock using my Big Shot and the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder that you can find on pg 28 of the Occasions Mini Catalog

I colored in my cat & cut him out using Paper Snips and added him to my card base using Dimensionals to make him pop out…

My sentiment?  Also from Touch of Kindness – this stamp set features 5 beautiful sentiments making it incredibly versatile.  I punched out my sentiment using my Word Window Punch and trimmed off the ends and added it with Dimensionals to my card.

As a cute touch I decided to add a little floral button from Subtles Designer Buttons (pg 186) that I threaded some embroidery floss through…and for a touch of luxury I added a piece of Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon that I secured with a knot.

Sooo want to see our cute little fur baby? Here he is…’helping’ me in my craft room…

His-naughtiness Punkin is an American Curl hence his ears curl backwards…except his curl backwards a little more than most LOL – he is one CUTE and loving kitty and incredibly mischievious!

Isn’t that set cute?  I will be showing you more of the new things featured in the Summer Mini Catalog over the next few days – it is one FABULOUS perk of being a Demonstrator that we get to pre-order & receive the new stuff a whole month before every new catalog goes live to customers…

If you are thinking about becoming a Demonstrator I have lots of info in the Join my Team section that you can find by clicking HERE – and I am always very happy to answer any questions that you might have – just email them to me by clicking HERE and I will be very happy to help.

What a great card! But I have to be honest here, the best part of this post is the picture of “Punkin”. It makes me want to run out and get another kitty…he is one of the most adorable kitties I’ve ever seen (don’t tell my Marvin and Muzby I said that, they may revolt LOL).
