As soon as I saw this card I absolutely LOVED it and just knew that I would have to case it…it uses the beautiful new stamp set called Betsy’s Blossoms with co-ordinating Designer Series Paper from Floral District…

I probably copy a card that I see once or twice a year because I love coming up with my own designs but this one I just couldn’t resist!

It is made by my extremely talented up-up-up-up-line Linda Guiterrez who you can find by clicking here and I think it is simply stunning – I even loved how she stamped the envelope to match…what do you think?

Isn’t it just gorgeous?  The card base is made using Lucky Limeade cardstock and to make it you cut a piece of cardstock to be 4 1/4″ wide by 11″ long.

You then put it into your scoring tool with the longest side along the top and make two scores – one at 2 3/4″ and another at 5 1/2″ – and fold concertina style – simple but stunning.

The yellow mat is Daffodil Delight cardstock and the beautiful patterned paper under that bird is from Floral District DSP.

The bird? Is stamped using a stamp from the brand new set Betsy’s Blossoms and is stamped using Rich Razzleberry Ink – the flower is stamped using Daffodil Delight ink and is also from that stamp set…

Flowers?  You can see that the flowers in that Designer Series Paper and the flower from the stamp set Betsy’s Blossoms co-ordinate absolutely perfectly, making it easy to create beautiful co-ordinating cards…

The sentiment? Is from the brand new Hostess set Wacky Wishes (pg 204) and is stamped using Lucky Limeade ink – that set is just one of the exclusive hostess items available when you place an order of $150+

I love how the card opens up to reveal a large white mat with another one of those gorgeous flowers stamped on the corner…the white mat creates a fabulous backdrop to the sentiment and also gives plenty of room to write a message…

Thank you Linda for creating such a gorgeous card and for the inspiration – if you want to create your own you can find the pack of Floral District Designer Series Papers on pg 163 AND Betsy’s Blossoms stamp set on pg 72…

Could you tell me the size of the mats? I just love this card but have such a hard time with measurements. Thank you!
