When we visited the Kanab facility we got a fun new treat this year – we got to do special Make & Takes featuring Washi Tape!

Now you might not believe me when I tell you this BUT…I have NEVER used Washi Tape!!!  Can you believe that?!  I have tons of it in my stampin stash but have not yet gotten around to using it!

And so this was the very first time I got to play with it and HELLO SARAH – this tape is AWESOME!!!  Wow it is fun & easy to use – it is easy to tear and is re-positionable and gives you a FAB look – how have I not played with it before?!

Here are the two Make & Takes that we made…

Can you say CUTE?!  Clean, simple, fast and so much fun to make using that tape!

The card bases…these cards are a little smaller – note card sized at 5″ x 3 1/2″ – and are simply Crumb Cake cardstock.  AND they are perfectly sized to go into the Crumb Cake colored Note Card Envelopes that you can find on pg 162 of the Catalog…

The Washi Tape…what a great background this tape makes – and it’s super fast & super simple and the results will always be perfect because you tear the tape – you cannot go wrong with this stuff!!!  The three different tapes are all in the package Garden Gingham Washi Tape that you can find on pg 171 of the Catalog…

The banner pieces…we stamped ‘hello’ and ‘thanks’ using stamps from Thanks & Hello (pg 161) using Island Indigo Ink onto Whisper White cardstock – we then cut those shapes out using a die from Hearts a Flutter Framelits (pg 187) and then shaped those end edges using a die from Finishing Touches Edgelits (pg 188) – and then attached our banners to the cards using Dimensionals.

The butterflies…have a fine detail that is hard to see in the photos – we took a piece of Daddodil Delight cardstock and a butterfly stamp from Papillion Potpourri (pg 90) and stamped it using Daffodil Delight Ink – we then used the Bitty Butterfly Punch (pg 183) to cut out the shapes from that stamped cardstock and attached the cute butterflies to our card…click on the photos below for a closer look…

We then added a little button from the Brights Collection (pg 168) and then tied a bow using White Bakers Twine and added to the center of the button using a Mini Glue Dot…

And there you have 2 CUTE note cards that you whip up a batch of in half an hour!
