I hope you enjoyed hoping with My Inky Friends this past weekend and you got some great ideas from the fantastic projects on show – I know I did!
And thank you for coming back to visit me – as promised below you will find all the details for my projects including a FREE printable/downloadable PROJECT SHEET for each one – look for the red words to find them – along with all supplies used – enjoy!
First up is my Nugget Treat Box…
This box is very budget friendly – no special tools required, simply a paper trimmer! This box is made literally from only ONE piece of regular sized cardstock – you cut two rectangles (one at 5″ x 4″ and the other at 4 7/8″ x 3 7/8″), score 1″ in from each edge, use scissors to cut the slits to create flaps and emboss if liked – apply strong tape to the flaps and assemble – it could not be easier!
You can use a circle punch to cut notches each side of the lid if wished but that is not essential – and then you can decorate as much or as little as you like!
Inside you can pop candies – I used Hershey Nuggets – and to bling those up again is very simple – cut 1″ x 3″ strips of patterned paper and stick to each nugget – done in no time!
And don’t forget about that new upcoming BRAND NEW embossing folder called Basket Weave that I used on this box – you can get it for FREE as part of the second phase of Sale-a-bration beginning FRIDAY February 16th!

Next is my Basket Candy Holder…with Easter fast approaching I think this would be a great way to give out some handmade Easter treats…
So much fun and again, easy to make – you stamp the basket twice, die cut it out and use thin strips of very strong adhesive tape down each side.
To pop the cello tube inside, you gently squeeze each side of the basket with your fingers to open it up and the tube tucks down in there – if wished, pop a glue dot in to hold it in place.

And finally my vibrant card…
I love these colors! The background paper is from Tutti Frutti DSP and ALL stamps I used are from the set Picnic with You.
I stamped the basket using Early Espresso, the stems with Lemon Lime Twist, the flowers with Berry Burst and the cute butterfly with Rich Razzleberry – and ALL were cut out using coordinating dies making this a fun and easy card to put together.
Again, the band running across this card is textured using that fab new Basket Weave Dynamic Embossing Folder – AVAILABLE FOR FREE FROM FRIDAY!
I loved making this card so much that it’s going to be my team appreciation card this month and my customer thank you card too – I can’t wait to make more for pop into the mail to hopefully bring smiles!
