Welcome to 3-D Thursday and this week it was my turn to create a little something and I came up with a Concertina style card created using the NEW & LIMITED TIME, ONLY AVAILABLE IN AUGUST set of STITCHED SEASONS Framelits Dies!
Further down this post you will find a link to the FREE Project Sheet that has step by step instructions & color photos that you can save to your computer or print out and have on hand for easy reference PLUS you will find a full list of Supplies used to make this at the end of this post.
If you haven’t see the Stitched Seasons Framelits Dies yet, HURRY to the store and check them out – click HERE to find them – they are part of the Color Your Season promotion and are available through August 31st OR whilst supplies last and they feature three big beautiful shapes perfect for a project like this one…
Much gorgeousness and many new products from the upcoming Holiday Catalog were used on this project you see today – they are orderable for customers from September 5th BUT if you can’t wait that long, you can join TODAY AND ORDER THEM NOW!!! In fact you can even add them to your Starter Kit! Click HERE or email me to find out more.
The core card pieces are created with the largest die and as you can see, the next size down nestles perfectly on top. I cut my covers from the new Galvanized Metallic Paper (totally cool!) and ALL of the pretty patterned papers I used are from the new Frosted Floral DSP…
The sentiment on the tag is from the new stamp set First Frost and the silver foil sprigs were cut with a die from the new set of coordinating Frosted Bouquet Framelits Dies.
And did you notice the ribbons? Oh my I absolutely ADORE the new Tranquil Tide Velvet Ribbon and the new Braided Linen Trim is perfect for adding a touch of rustic goodness!
Undo that bow and this is what you find inside…six panels to decorate as you like, either all card-y or you can create frames like I did below and add wallet sized photos or cropped photos to them…
Those frame pieces are cut from dies also found in the Frosted Bouquet Framelits – I tell ya, you are going to LOVE that set of dies!
And even more new products here…I die cut Chicken Wire Elements for the front and back inner panels and WOW is that some amazing embellishment – all shiny and fun!
The stamped flowers on the front and back inside covers are stamps from First Frost and I love the watercolor look they give, without you having to actually do any coloring!
All the panels were cut using the same die and the edges were trimmed off to turn them into ovals…
The sentiment on this Stitched Circle tag is from another new set called Feather & Frost – I love how the script matches across the two stamp sets making them interchangeable…
And finally on the back of the back cover is a panel to write a message and here you can see how all three of those stitched shape dies nest & stack nicely on top of one another…
And one last look so that you can see the book-like style of this project…
Here are the dies you get in Stitched Seasons Framelits – super versatile and you can purchase them alone or with the Blended Seasons stamp set in a BUNDLE to save 10% – click HERE to find them:
