Welcome to 3-D Thursday and this week it was my turn to create a little something and I came up with a pretty box filled with pretty notecards!
Further down this post you will find a link to the FREE Project Sheet that has step by step instructions & color photos that you can save to your computer or print out and have on hand for easy reference PLUS you will find a full list of Supplies used to make this at the end of this post.
And here it is…oh how I love playing with the stamps & dies I used on this project – they are from a BRAND NEW upcoming Bundle debuting in the new Annual Catalog called To A Wild Rose – and check out the color of that big beautiful flower – its one of the NEW incoming In Colors called Rococo Rose…
The box is simply a Mini Pizza Box that I covered with cardstock that has a woodgrain effect. To get this effect I inked up one of the surfaces of my Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder, popped a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock in there and ran it through my die cutting machine – take it out and you get this fantastic real wood look!
Slide off the belly band, open the box lid and inside are nestled some 3″ x 3″ pretty notecards…
Here’s a closer look at the box lid – that pretty ribbon is another brand new Catalog item called Mint Macaron Textile Ribbon and is so soft and easy to tie bows with.
The see-through white lacey bit underneath is a piece of die cut Vellum – that die is also included in the To A Wild Rose Bundle and I can see myself using it ALOT!
I decided to stamp the ‘hello’ straight onto the box lid and absolutely LOVE how it looks!
Here are the three designs of cards that I made to fill the box – all the sentiments are from Itty Bitty Greetings and cut out using the Classic Label Punch…
I did not ink up the embossing folder for Crumb Cake layer on the cards to keep them simple…
Here’s a pretty Pool Party flower…
And I used the Leaf Punch to make those leaves out of Vellum…
Here’s one last look at the ensemble – six cards & envelopes fit nicely into the box…
And using more dies from Wild Rose I die cut those leaves out of Champagne Foil paper for a touch of glamour…isn’t that a gorgeous set of Stamps & Dies?
You can find them in the To A Wild Rose Bundle – click HERE to see it in the store – available for purchase FROM JUNE 4th or NOW when you join as a Demonstrator – ask me how!
