Welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop for May! We have a vibrant set of colors to work with this month and the challenge is that we have to use ALL of these colors on our projects – and this month we have five of them to incorporate!
Here is what I came up with…
A card that uses both retiring and brand new products – as you can see, I am loving the new dies! I used Whisper White for the card base and layers – see the intricate floral die cut in the background? It is a brand new die featured in Springtime Impressions Thinlits and it is absolutely gorgeous!
I used a piece of Very Vanilla Solid Bakers Twine running across my card behind a bench that was cut from Crumb Cake cardstock (we are allowed to this neutral tone too!) using a die from another brand new set called Pretty Park Framelits.
I used Emerald Envy and Perfect Plum to create my accents around the sentiment – I punched leaves using the Leaf Punch out of Emerald Envy colored patterned paper from Naturally Eclectic DSP and the flowers using the small flower die from Springtime Impressions Thinlits and added a sparkly Glitter Epoxy Circle to the center of each purple flower…
The sentiment itself is a stamp from Colorful Seasons and I shaped it using a circle die from Stitched Shapes Framelits.
Onto it I added a little Flirty Flamingo heart that I cut using the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch and washed my Wink of Stella Glitter Brush over it to give it some sparkle…
And for finishing touches I added a few Pearl Jewels dotted around on the white flowers.
