Welcome to Simple on Saturday where the projects I show you can be made in less than an hour using just a handful of supplies! This week I am featuring a sweet Valentine gift in a mason jar – quick, easy and super economical to make!

And here it is…it is a mason jar filled with a cookie mix and a cookie cutter hangs on the side making for a sweet gift!
The patterned paper on the lid is from From My Heart Specialty DSP and check out the tag…
Stamped using a stamp from the set Meant to Be, cut out using the largest die from Layering Circles Dies and tied on using a piece of Whisper White Solid Bakers Twine.
And here you can see the cookie cutter – heart shaped and tied on using a piece of twine from Country Club Combo…
Here you can see the layers of the cookie mix – if you do an internet search for ‘mason jar cookie mix’ you will find bunches of recipes – I used one that I found on Suburban Simplicity and added some heart shaped sprinkles to my chocolate chips layer…
I printed out the ‘how to make your cookies’ instructions onto a piece of white cardstock and used strong adhesive tape to attach it to the back of the jar – you can find this printable in my FREE Project Sheet further down…
And here is one last look at this pretty but simple and delicious gift – who doesn’t love a gift in a mason jar?
