Sale-a-bration…and I can hardly wait!!! I have been loving playing with the stamp sets featured in the Sale-a-bration Catalog as they are all so versatile….
Speaking of versatility, that is what I am showing you today…on pg 8 is a set called Sweet Summer – a set of 9 stamps featuring beautiful flowers, stems, a bird, a butterfly & bee…and here is how it is versatile…
Isn’t this cute? Using that branch with leaves and berries to hang items from is a fun & out of the box way to use this stamp – I also can see using it to hang holiday ornaments & Easter eggs from, simply by using Circle or Oval Punches to make them…
My card base is Always Artichoke onto which is layered a piece of Cherry Cobbler that is textured using my Big Shot and the beautiful Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder.
The cute branch? Made by simply stamping that branch stamp from Sweet Summer onto Whisper White card stock and coloring with my Blender Pens and Ink Pads…I drew staggered lines down from the branch using my Always Artichoke Stampin’ Write Marker…
Those hearts? Made using my Heart to Heart Punch and Cherry Cobbler card stock and I added sparkly Rhinestones on the top of each…
The finishing touches? A piece of Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding tied around underneath my image…and my sentiment is taken from the set Valentine Defined and punched out using Oval Punches – I added a cute Rhinestone to the side to tie it into the other accents on my card…
I absolutely LOVE this card and can’t wait to try out other hanging items from that branch…what can you think of to hang from it?

Sarah,
This card is fantastic! I have to be honest – I didn’t think much of any of the sets in the Sale A Bration catalog when I first looked at them but I knew, I just knew as soon as someone as talented as you got a hold of them I’d fine some favorites! This is just darling! I love how you used the branch but then added your own elements. Thank you so much for sharing!
Hugs,
Christine aka The Stampin’ Ninja
