Butterflies are simply beautiful and that is what I wanted to portray in my card today – I was reminded of their beauty when I saw one flying in the garden today – just gorgeous.

And so I decided to use that beautiful butterfly from the Sale-a-bration stamp set Bliss – it’s one of my favorite stamp sets and you only have TEN more days to get it because once Sale-a-bration ends on March 31st, it’s gone for good!

I also have something new to tell you about – the first of several new happenings in the next week or so…so please read on for the deets…

What do you think?  Aren’t those butterflies just gorgeous?  And I love how they look like they are flying around a beautiful climbing plant.

My card uses the colors Soft Suede, Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla…love how that combo works together!

I stamped and cut out my butterflies using Paper Snips and added three little Pearls to the center of each and added them to a piece of card stock that I textured using my Big Shot and Elegant Lines Embossing Folder…

I then stamped my sentiment using a stamp from the set Bold Blossom and punched it out using my Large Oval Punch, adding three Pearls to it to continue my theme.

And for my finishing touch I decided to stamp my butterfly onto a corner of my envelope which gives it such a cute co-ordinating touch.

So, what’s the new announcement?

I am going to be offering you the chance to purchase my hand-made cards – I’ve been asked many times if I will do this and I have finally decided to!

I love sharing my work on my blog and now you have the opportunity to to share it in real life too!

So what’s the scoop? I am selling my cards complete with envelopes in packages of 10 – in accordance with Stampin’ Up!’s angel policy every card will have a copyright stamp on the back.

How do you purchase a package of cards? At the end of a blog post you will find a link to purchase the card featured that day in a package of 10 – complete with 10 envelopes – they will be packaged in a protective plastic box.

When you consider how much it costs to purchase a standard flat card in a store, they are a great price – and what a great way to have a stack of hand-made cards on hand for when you need them.
