Welcome to the Inky Friends Blog Hop where we are each showcasing a retiring Stamp Set – help us say goodbye to some fabulous sets!
If you are starting here, a big warm welcome – and if you are already hoping in order, you will have arrived from the wonderful Cindy who just showed you her beautiful projects using Happiest of Days. I am using the fun stamp set No Bones About It and had a blast creating with these dinosaurs!
First up is my card…
Clean & simple with a green & black theme. I originally set out to create a kids birthday card but actually I think I know some adults who would think this is fun too LOL!
Here’s a closer look at that dinosaur scene – I love him! I added a little eye using a 1/16″ black circle and popped a party hat on his head…
And you can see on the layer edge I made little notches using my 1/4″ Circle Punch each side for the Bakers Twine to slot into for a fun look and zooming out you can see the leaves and the dino tracks to give a bit of a ‘walking in the jungle’ look – I absolutely love how fresh & vibrant this card turned out!
Next up we have a party favor that matches…
As soon as I saw that wording stamp I knew I wanted to use it and a dino skeleton to create a kids party favor using ‘bones’ and thought that a bag of pretzel sticks would be perfect for the job!
Here is a closer look at that panel…
These items were so much fun to make and I am so sad that this fantastic set is retiring – if you want it, please purchase it asap so that you don’t miss out – it goes away for good on May 31st!

LOVE your party-ready dino! This set really is an instant classic.
Sarah, your projects are just so darn cute! Using pretzel sticks for the “bones” was inspired. So fun!
Fun projects! I love those dinos. Keeping my set for sure. I love the little party favor tag.
I love those pretzel sticks as bones for treat! The cards make me want to buy that set!
Sarah, these are great! I love the polka dot DSP and the color combo. The treat package is adorable! The party hat really brings him to life. The pretzels are like pretend bones! Super cute!
Sarah, this is totally adorable, and I also know some adults that this would work for! Love the dino-bone treats, too. ????
