One of my most favorite sets of coordinating stamps and dies is retiring – To a Wild Rose Stamp Set and Wild Rose Dies – and today I wanted to show you a couple of things I have made using them.
Here is my most favorite card that I created using these items – look for the FREE Project Sheet showing you how to make this below!
The background was super easy to create by rubbing my Crumb Cake ink pad over the inside of the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder – pop in a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock, run it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine and voila! A textured & ‘painted’ background! PSST – THIS EMBOSSING FOLDER IS ALSO RETIRING SO IT YOU WANT ONE, GRAB ONE NOW – CLICK HERE TO FIND IT!
Here is a close up of this pretty card front…I used Rococo Rose to color the flower and Old Olive for the leaves…
And then I made the same card but used Pool Party ink to color the flower…even the pretty vellum border piece is cut using a die from Wild Rose Dies!
The first two cards have a Vanilla base but here is a third version with a Rococo Rose base – this gives a different look but I’m not sure which I prefer – I just can’t stop making these cards LOL!
